I have to paint my wood frame windows again. Any suggestions as how to make it last longer then two years.?
These outdoor windows face south east so they get sun all day and when it rains this is the side that gets it hard. I have sanded in the past and primed then used a good paint for exterior windows. It only last about 2 years before I have to start over again. Any solutions would help.
Strip back all the old paint and then use a primer or good quality paint that doesn’t need a primer such as solargard.
Apply 3 coats letting the paint dry between coats. Be caeful not to glue the window in with paint. If you can remove the window easily do that.
